Legal Action Against Boss Media Withdrawn

By admin On December 4, 2008 Under News

If you follow our articles then probably you have read the one published in August concerning the legal proceeding brought upon Swedish online gambling software developer, Boss Media, by Poker Trillion. Well, probably that will surprise you- claims have been withdrawn. What’s more, a short message was posted at the Poker Trillion website which clearly stated that all claims have been withdrawn and that legal dispute has come to an end.

That is of course quite mysterious for all those who were following the case. Both sides seemed to have really strong arguments against each other and the sudden stop in fight is at least surprising.

The first good reason that may somehow explain why Poker Trillion pulled their case is that they did not have good evidences that could support their accusations. But that doesn’t convince me at all. In fact, Poker Trillion has been quite effective in their effort to make Boss Media pay up, so to speak. It managed to secure a judgment from the First hall Civil Court, Malta that would successfully allow Malta to seize Boss Media’s gaming servers and take down their budding online poker network and online casino licensees.

After this decision was made last month, Boss Media was quick to make a return attack, claiming that Poker Trillion has taken such action because they had been expelled from Boss Media’s poker network for rake back violations. What’s more, Boss Media ensured that despite the threats of a fund seizure, all player account balances were safeguarded and guaranteed.

Well, believing the Boss Media, we could assume that the accusation by Poker Trillion was simply an act of revenge. Yet, I am afraid we will never know what really happened, not to mention the fact that the end of the case is quite mysterious. Interestingly, none of the two sides fighting gave any explanation of the dismissal, which naturally evokes curiosity and leads to personal assumptions. Well, you are probably not the only one who wonders whether an outside deal was struck between the two.
